Wyatt: 8 Month Update

Diapers: Size 3
Clothes: 9-12 months
Favorite Foods: marinara sauce, refried beans, sweet potatoes, Super Puffs, pumpkin teething cookies
Milestones: Crawling, pulling up on everything (starting to take steps while holding on to things), 2 more teeth, 1st hockey game, 1st bounce house, moving out of the baby class at church and first big boy bath!

About a week after I posted Wyatt's 7 month blog, he started crawling EVERYWHERE! He figured out how to go forward one day and just took off. We have really had to start baby proofing things around our living room. We moved some tables and lamps that used to flank our couch to the guest room. (Bonus: our guest room is the very nicest part of our house, and I think it looks incredibly inviting these days!)

At Weston Carter's birthday party - we went in the bounce house before all the kids got there!

Wyatt has become such an easy baby to be around. I think it helps that he can move on his own finally, so he doesn't feel the need to constantly be held by Mommy or Daddy. He loves his ball pit or the alligator toy from Grandmommy & Papaw that shoots balls out of its mouth. We started putting that on the shelf under our coffee table, and Wyatt crawls up under the table to get it out.

Mommy's family grew up loving hockey, so we were so excited to take Wyatt to his first Stars game. He looked so cute in his jersey - he had a lot of pictures taken of him that day. We made it through 2 of 3 periods - that was a win for us! (The stars lost.)

Ugh, ignore the pink tub in the guest bathroom.

Oh-em-gee... Wyatt has moved to the big bathtub for bath time. This was something I had been looking forward to. He outgrew his infant tub long ago, and he was kicking water out at us for weeks before we made the switch. Grandmommy helped us with the first one. (She's EXCELLENT at bath time.) He has a hard time with getting his hair washed, but otherwise, he loves it!

The teething thing is hard, but he has 4 now (2 top and 2 bottom), and he loves showing them off. He also enjoys biting down on Mommy's hands and fingers - ouchy! He laughs at everything, especially poking his belly or trying to squeeze your finger under his chin onto his neck. Ticklish little man!
